Diabetes can affect several parts of the human body. One of them is skin. A person with diabetes should keep the skin well.

Diabetes can also make the skin very dry. So it is more easily broken and itching. This condition is used by the bacteria to make a skin infection.
For people with diabetes, the skin will very rarely sweat. This is very detrimental to the skin. Perspiration from the skin will help keep the skin moist. More rarely sweat comes out, the skin will be dry.
So, it must be good at caring for and maintaining the condition of the skin. There are a few ways that can be done as follow :
- Keep the skin clean and dry
Sweat helps maintain your skin’s moisture. However, sweating can also be a source of bacteria growth. So you have to maintain the condition of the skin, especially the skin is often covered. Sprinkle with talcum powder to keep the skin moisture.
- Avoid hot baths
Use cold water when bathing. Hot water tends to make your skin dry. Do not forget to use hand and body lotion to keep the skin moisture and smoothness.
- Choose clothing from cotton
This type of fabric is the best to absorb sweat. When you sweat, it will help absorb it.
- Use lotion or soap containing moisturizer.
Increase consumption of plain water, fruit or vegetable juice which has shored up the moisture and freshness of your skin.
